A fancy dinner with a neighborhood touch.
I like Mulvaney’s. I’ve been twice now and they haven’t let me down. This time, they even added a little something extra to our dessert. When I called to make reservations, they asked if this was a special occassion and I said it was for our anniversary (which was the 30th, but Saturday was more convenient). When they brought out the dessert plates, this is what we found:

I was taken to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch today for my birthday, which was Saturday, and got a chocolate “Happy Birthday” on the plate. It was delightful!
