Central City Opinion asks:

does that mean people who choose to live in the central city and maintain a walkable community should have to accomodate those who do not ? Isnt it time that they “swallow that pill ? “

Yes, yes it is time.
Robert Pinsky was on The Colbert Report this evening. Generally speaking, I like my poets to have been dead for at least a hundred years, and preferably more, before I read them, but I’ll make exceptions for a handful, including Pinsky. I have a soft spot for him for another reason: he’s a fan of Fulke Greville and so am I.
