Stephanie was very nice and the Pannini sandwiches were best in town . I sure hope they plan on opening in a better location ( I think location was there downfall) . I am so tired of seeing places go like this , I sent alot of people over to Osteria and always got thanked for the recommendation . A loss . That is sad news indeed , i loved that place !

Wifey and I went to lunch on K Street today and had to decide between the Crest Cafe and Osteria. We ended up at Crest Cafe, so I hadn't heard about Osteria closing either. I remember going when the place wasn't busy at all, and it seemed like they had developed a nice following since then. I'll really miss their pasta puttanesca. Too bad. Well that sucks.
