Uneasy Rhetoric

Osteria, a little Italian flavored joint on K Street, was poised to become part of the K Street Renaissance. But, alas, it wasn’t to be. I don’t know why they decided to close down after only a few years of being open — a fellow Yelper says it was because they were looking to sell and spend more time with their daughter. That’s a good reason, but it still makes me sad to see them go. Their profile is even gone from Midtown Grid.

Neil and Stephanie, if you happen to read this, put me on a list and let me know when and if and where you decide to open another place, and I’ll be there. The review I gave you a long time ago never really did Osteria justice. It came to be my favorite restaurant downtown. I ate there probably just a bit more than my pocketbook should have allowed.

And I’m not like to eat at “Burger Inn.” *Shudder.*
