I too was drawn to this project but noticed the lack of electric outlets, overhead lighting, and an overall unwillingness of the leasing staff to allow ANY modifications… I wanted to come by in the evening to check out the views at night on each end of the building (identical condos with opposite views)… I noticed them in there, the security guard asked them for me, then returned to say they were in a meeting and would not talk to me! Shit… so much for “customer service”… I noticed they then shut the door so I could not see either of them… Man, I drove 50 miles too… and at 2,750 a month I’m sure that if I were the leasing agent I would have got out of my chair to at least deliver the bad news personally… Man, what a turn – off…. Then, half the units have this ugly bare concrete floor you can’t have then tile or carpet! I wanted to consider the “available” penthouse but later was told that they decided not to lease it out yet…. With only 40 rented out of 225 I was beginning to realizze that maybe since I was white, could qualify, and was a breeder, that perhaps I did not fit the “industrial” young chic Metro look that they wanted…. Well, I think my girlfriend and I will stay in El Dorado Hills area after this…. After all, a 3,000 sq ft NEW home can be got for less than there 1,350 sq ft model at 800J anyway. Geeezzzz… we REALLY liked the place but must agree with the previous posting that the Customer service seemed pretentious and less than informative. I don’t think we can fault the women there but it”s the A-hole supervisor that seems to be the problem… Just try asking him a question then sit back and enjoy his smart-ass way of responding…. He’d be better off selling scalped tickets to a hockey game somewhere instead of managing “luxury” apartments… Oh, and by the way, they don’t want you to run any business out of your lofts… shit… is’nt that the whole point of having one of these in the first place?
