Fremont Mews leasing “fast.”

Tags: ,

Last September, I spoke to a representative from the Fremont Mews and, based on my conversations, the price-point for their market rate apartments, and the run-around, my wife and I decided not to pursue an apartment there. (We also walked by the apartments one evening and were struck by how institutional they felt.)

Which is good because we’re saving a ton of money, but bad because the Mews are in an ideal location.

Apparently, though, I’m not the only one who has misgivings. Here it is almost six months later and I’m still getting emails from the Mews saying “there are only a few, premium apartments still available.”

The difference is, the latest email offered me a free iPod Nano if I leased before the end of the month. “Live Large. Listen Nano,” the ad says. Gag. I have a better idea. Instead of a $99 piece of plastic, why don’t you offer free storage (storage space in the units is inadequate) or a free parking space?
