One way to use land…

…is to grow wine on it. We got together with Chris and Margaret this evening after Chris and I did a Trader Joe’s run and purchased a cart full of cheap Merlot, plus one ringer. The goal? Find a wine or two for under $5 a bottle that we actually liked.

How do you spell blog?

How is it that “Jedi” is in the SpellBound spellchecker for Firefox but “blog” isn’t? For that matter, neither is “Firefox” or “SpellBound.”

And now for something completely bagpipes.

If it were legal and safe to wear headphones while I barreled down the Jedediah Smith on my French classic, I might be listening to Soss.

Higher Density in Suburbia

I couldn’t leave this one alone. The Folsom Auto Mall wants to expand, but Sacramento Regional Transit opposes the expansion (from the Sacramento Bee, January 25, 2006):

A Podcast Casualty

Bike Talk Radio was a bicycling podcast/broadcast on KDRT in Davis. The 53rd and final show was ‘cast today. I started listening to it around episode 20 and had listened off and on since.
