Do you want to play tourist?
Tags: sacramento“My mother was the first to say, ‘I’m sick and tired of hearing Sacramento is great because it’s close to San Francisco or close to Lake Tahoe,’ ” said Mark Friedman, the couple’s eldest son and president of the family’s Fulcrum Group of Companies, a real estate development and property management company.

It is true that Sacramento won’t overstimulate any tourist. You won’t find yourself sitting on a park bench, staring into the distance, thinking “I’ll never see it all.”
But surely there are ways to entertain friends, relatives, and other tourists who spend time in Sacramento, without having to drag them away from the city.
So put yourself in their shoes. If you were visiting Sacramento for a few days, what would you like to see? What is the kind of thing that would bring you to this city?
If you aren’t from here, what have you heard about Sacramento that would make you want to visit?
