		<description>I read once that a typical Londoner will be on 800 different cameras during the course of the day.

Lot of good it does though.  I haven&#039;t read the latest developments, but the guy doing the assaulting has yet to be identified.</description>

		<description>This is disturbing - has the skinhead-looking person who attacked the biker been arrested for assault, given that he should be pretty easy to ID? If we&#039;re going to have our privacy invaded by cameras, we should at least be able to use that invasion of privacy to collar no-neck assholes like that.

Visiting England was pretty alarming in terms of cameras - I&#039;m fairly convinced that every outdoor moment of our vacation could be reconstructed from footage from the ubiquitous cameras. The ice-cream truck had a camera for goshsakes!</description>
