		<description>The concept of actual vs. built livable space is an interesting one.  I wonder how many who live in the 4k and 5k McMonsters actually &quot;live&quot; in that much space.  I knew people with much smaller homes who would have unused rooms or, as you said, rooms filled with junk.

I know for us 1,100 was just right, and I think we have just a little more than that now.  Even if we had a kid, I think what we have now would be fine.</description>

The smallest houses are just over 1,200 square feet, and you can&#039;t touch that house for less than $380,000.  I agree that 700 square feet is small for two people.  However, I think 850 - 900 square feet is quite livable.  It&#039;s about the number of square feet wifey in I actually live in.  The rest is either unused or filled with junk.  If they can hit 900 square feet for $350,000 or so, the places will be as affordable as anywhere else.</description>
