Uneasy Rhetoric

John over at the Sacramento Real Estate Blog posts a link to a pdf of a map showing zip codes for the Sacramento area. It isn’t precise enough to find the zip code of a particular address (when, I wonder, will Google add zip code overlays to Google Maps?), but if you’re trying to, say, refine your search when shopping for a home, such a map can be quite useful.

Maps like these used to be standard in telephone books. Are they still? I wouldn’t know. If anyone dares drop a phone book on my doorstep, it usually goes straight into recycling.
