Uneasy Rhetoric

Cookie Monster’s healthy attitude notwithstanding, I point you toward Carl’s review of Goodie Tuchews (1006 10th Street, Sacramento), which I heartily second. It doesn’t make the Downtown Déjeuner because, as much as anyone would argue otherwise, it just ain’t a real déjeuner. Still, Goodie Tuchews is inexpensive crumbly cookie goodness. Honestly, it’s probably more than our fat American asses deserve.

Goody Tuchews is one of only two places I go when it is my “snack week” at work (the other is the farmers market in Chavez Park). Remember cookies are cheaper by the dozen.
