Kelo vs. New London

For those who are interested in today’s Supreme Court decision to allow municipalities to claim land through eminent domain for redevelopment purposes, the decision is here (pdf) (Kelo vs. New London, 04-108, June 23, 2005).

I’m not going to comment on this until I’ve had a chance to read the decision. I think I may have backed myself into a philosophical corner on this one, into a position I don’t want to be.
