Uneasy Rhetoric

Gleaned (a nicer word than “ganked,” don’t you think?) from the Skyscraper Pages thread on 2005 development in Sacramento:

If I remember correctly, this is going to be located where the Grand Ballroom is on J Street across from the Sheraton Hotel. This is an interesting looking building and, I think, somewhat attractive. It combines both a classical and a modern look, reflecting the profile of the old Elks Building one block to the west.

There was a story about it a while ago in the Sacramento Business Journal. Sounds intriguing, although all of the usual desires for more “family friendly” and “affordable” housing apply. I think at one time I figured the average square footage of the condos would be around 1,100 square feet. Not too bad.
