Hacking Netflix posts an interesting thought: what if Netflix partnered with a dating company and connected people who liked the same kind of movies?

Answer: even if they could always agree on what movie to watch, they’d find something else to argue about.

I like the Netflix service, and the friends stuff is okay too, but should Netflix become a full-fledged social networking site? C’mon. I just want to watch movies.
