I just want to have it on record: I love you John! Oops! I guess my secret's out. I'm just no good at keeping secrets. I guess it's because anyone could pretty easily find out everything anyway, because I have no clue about how to secure my computer network.

A nationwide draft seems plausible, but such a move would be detrimental to the current administration, as well as the Republican Party. No one wants another Vietnam, and a draft would cause an already skeptical public to believe that the Bush administration did not adequately prepare for the insurgency (they didn’t) after major combat operations were declared to have ended. I respect and admire those who volunteer to protect this country, but to force people to support what is clearly a neo-conservative view of geopolitics is a tough pill to swallow. “UR” is indeed correct to hypothesize a “special skills draft.” The United States is in need of individuals who possess the skills necessary to fight this new type of unconventional war; well, maybe not all of the skills listed by “UR,” but some of them =).
