Uneasy Rhetoric

I was all set to put my PHP skills to the test and set up one of those “email the governor” sites so people could encourage Governor Schwarzenegger to retretrofit his Hummer for fuel cell technology.

The first article I read, on Yahoo, made it sound as though nothing was being done; however, the article I link to above indicates that the process is a little farther along. Bids have been submitted, but no one has been chosen. Given the Gov’s sensitivity to image, I would expect this recent bit of news about the slow pace of the alleged retrofit will nudge him into activity.

Maybe he needs a little grassroots nudging, but at the moment, I think I’ll preserve my bandwidth…but not for much longer.
