It’s Subway. What else is there to say? Cheap, good but not great, virtually no ambiance to speak of, service that is entirely dependent on the longevity of the workers, and overwhelming crowds every day.

Subway is my benchmark for sandwich places; it is the average. I go there frequently. I admit I’ve only been to one of the three in my area, but there is very little that changes from Subway to Subway. A long time ago, I seem to recall that the tuna was different from place to place, but they seem to have gotten that down. Some places offer different kinds of cheese.

Two stars because it’s the biggest fast food chain in the world.
